§ 2-164. Tie vote; runoff election.

In all contests, other than primary elections, wherein there is a tie for the office of mayor or councilman, there shall be a runoff election held on the date established in Section 6.01 of the Charter after the general election in which the tie vote occurred and the names of the candidates who have tied shall be placed on the ballot in the runoff election, in accordance with section 6.04(a) of the City Charter.
