§ 5-312. Posting of front address number.

Any built-upon property within the city limits of the City of South Daytona shall have its assigned building address number properly displayed on-site, whether or not mail is delivered to such address. It shall be the duty of the owner or tenant of each such property to post the assigned address number on the property in the following manner:

(1)

The address number shall be affixed to the front of the main building on the property or to an appropriate separate structure in front of the main building (such as a mailbox, post, wall, fence, etc.) in such a manner so as to be clearly visible and legible from the public or private way on which the building fronts.

(2)

The numbers shall be Arabic and shall not be less than three (3) inches in height and one-half (½) inch in width.

(3)

The numbers shall be of a color which contrasts with the immediate background of the building or structure to which they are affixed.
