Article XV. DISPLAY OF ADDRESS NUMBERS |
§ 5-311. Purpose.
The purpose of this section is to require any built-upon property within the city which has an assigned address number to:
(1)
Display that number plainly visible and legible from the nearest roadway; and
(2)
If a building is located in a multi-unit complex such as a shopping center or strip shopping center and the units have rear doors or other rear accessways, to display on such rear accessway of either the assigned address number and/or name of the business. The city also finds that this requirement serves the public health, safety, and general welfare of the community.
