§ 5-313. Posting of rear identification.

Where a building has multiple-units with rear accessways, such as in a shopping center or strip shopping center, the rear accessway shall be identified in the following manner:
(1)

Either the address number or the name of the business (or both) shall be affixed to the rear door or accessway in such a manner so as to be clearly visible and legible from the public or private way against which the rear of the unit abuts.

(2)

The numbers shall be Arabic and numbers and/or letters shall not be less than three (3) inches in height and one-half (½) inch in width.

(3)

The numbers and/or letters shall be of a color which contrasts with the immediate background of the building or structure to which they are affixed.
