§ 7.04. Delegation of duties.

In exercising supervision and control over the administrative affairs of the city government and in performing the duties of his office, the city manager may delegate to city employees under his jurisdiction such functions as he may deem desirable. However, in no case shall he relinquish overall responsibility. Except as may be otherwise provided by law, all such employees shall be directly and exclusively responsible to the city manager and to no other person or body.
