§ 5-279. Authority to alter specification.

  • The city manager shall have the duty and prerogative of altering, upon application, the specifications of all structures to be erected or altered pursuant to this article, all with due regard to the geographical location existing in any particular area within the city; provided, that the maximum use of all lands may be utilized by the owners thereof; further provided, that a high degree of continuity and symmetry of bulkhead and seawall lines and possible damage or injury to adjoining or adjacent lands, waters and channels be retained. Any alteration of drawings shall be done by the design professional in charge of construction.
