§ 5-280. Removal of debris, tools, etc., after completion of work.

  • It shall be unlawful to permit debris, residue, tools and equipment resulting from or used during the progress of the work done under this article to remain on any lots, alleys, streets or thoroughfares after final inspection. The responsibility for removal thereof is hereby fixed upon the person in whose name the permit is issued. If the debris, residue, tools or equipment heretofore mentioned is not removed at final inspection, in addition to the penalties upon which the same are found and employ such labor and take such steps as may be reasonably required to remove the same, and the cost and expense of such removal shall thereupon be and become a lien upon the premises improved by the work for which such permit was issued.
