§ 2-404. Compensation and evaluation.

  • (a)

    Pay ranges shall be established for each nonbargaining unit personnel position indicating the minimum and maximum salary levels for annual compensation.

    (b)

    The salary levels for nonbargaining unit personnel shall be reviewed at least annually by the city manager, with recommended salary increases, if any, to be included as part of the annual budget submitted to the city council by the city manager for council approval.

    (c)

    At the completion of six (6) months, the supervisor will complete a performance evaluation for each newly hired or appointed nonbargaining unit personnel. Thereafter, a performance evaluation will be completed by the supervisor annually for each nonbargaining unit personnel.

    (d)

    These evaluations along with current economic conditions will be used by the city manager in determining the salary increase recommended, if any.
