§ 2-272. Explanation of vote.

Latest version.

No member shall be permitted to explain his vote during a roll call vote or after a voice vote or roll call vote. Any member may reduce his explanation to writing, in not more than two hundred (200) words, and upon filing with the city clerk, this explanation shall be made a part of the record of the meeting.
