§ 2-4. Deadline for filing petitions with council.

(a)

Any citizen desiring to submit a petition to the city council for consideration must file such petition with the city clerk at the city hall three (3) or more days prior to the meeting of the city council in order for such petition to be considered by the city council.

(b)

Any petition that is not submitted and filed as required by this section will not be considered by the city council and will be carried over until the next regular meeting of the city council.
