§ 13-23. Enforcement.

Violations of this article shall be enforced as code violations and shall be enforced through the special master. The city may request the special master to issue an order authorizing the city to enter the private property and remove the offending property. All removal of property shall be done by the city's contracted tow company and the tow company shall be responsible for the storage and disposal of the property consistent with state law. However the tow company shall not release the property until all fines, fees and costs incurred by the city are paid or otherwise waived and the property must have a valid current registration before being released to the owner.
