§ 10-60. Definition of "garage sale."

A "garage sale" as used in this article is hereby defined to be any sale or offering for sale of personal property by a person or persons of a family or other household unit which personal property has been acquired, possessed and used by the family or household for personal as opposed to business or commercial use, when such sale is to be or is conducted at the current residence of such family or household. A "garage sale" shall include sales commonly referred to as patio sales, driveway sales, yard sales, or other such sales.
