§ 7.09. Absence or disability.

During any temporary absence or disability of the city manager, the duties of city manager shall be performed by the following person:
(a)

The assistant city manager;

(b)

If there is no assistant city manager, or if the assistant city manager is absent or disabled, any person who may be designated by the city council to serve as acting city manager;

(c)

If there is no assistant city manager or the assistant city manager is absent or disabled, and the council has not designated an acting city manager, any city employee who may be designated by the city manager to serve as acting city manager.
