§ 5.08. Vice-mayor.

The council shall elect from among its members a vice-mayor. The election of the vice-mayor shall occur biennially at the first regular meeting following the date of the regular city election and at any other time necessary to fill a vacancy in the office. The vice-mayor shall act as mayor during any temporary absence or disability of the mayor.
