§ 9-5. Enforcement.

The provisions of this article shall be enforced by the building official and by the chief of police, or any member of their respective departments designated by them. The building official or the chief of police is authorized to remove or have removed any such machinery, vehicles, boats, or parts thereof, scrap metal, and junk when such items reasonably appear to be in violation of this article. Such items shall be impounded until lawfully claimed or disposed of in accordance with law.
