§ 8-22. Special provisions for virgin woods.

  • Virgin woods within the city shall be exempt from clearing undergrowth provided property has never been cleared and does not now or in the foreseeable future constitute a hazard to the city. Once the undergrowth has been cleared, it shall be continued. Undergrowth shall consist of palmetto buses, other type bushes, leaves, debris, weeds, and vines. This section shall not apply to individual lots in a developed area or subdivision. In the case of an individual virgin lot in a subdivision, the lot shall be kept clean and grubbed in accordance with section 8-19.
