§ 8.5-71. Imposition.

(a)

The council hereby adopts the following schedule of police impact fees, which are imposed upon all police impact construction occurring within the city at a rate established under the applicable police impact fee land use category.

Police Impact Fee Land Use Category	Police Impact Fee
Single-Family Residential	$164.69 per dwelling unit
Multi-Family Residential	$277.58 per dwelling unit

(b)

Except as otherwise provided in this article, the police impact fee shall be paid directly to the city prior to the issuance of a building permit.
