§ 8.5-61. Imposition.

(a)

The council hereby adopts the following schedule of fire impact fees, which are imposed upon all fire impact construction occurring within the city at a rate established under the applicable fire impact fee land use category.

Single-Family Residential	$301.97 per dwelling unit
Multi-Family Residential	$161.17 per dwelling unit
Commercial	$0.5491 per square foot
Industrial/Warehouse	$0.0428 per square foot
Institutional	$0.7916 per square foot
Nursing Homes	$12.78 per square foot

(b)

Except as otherwise provided in this article, the fire impact fee shall be paid directly to the city prior to the issuance of a building permit.
