§ 6-32. Adoption of codes and standards.

  • The following codes and standards are hereby adopted and incorporated by reference as the fire and life safety standards of the City of South Daytona.

    Florida Fire Prevention Code to encompass the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1, Fire Prevention Code, based on the current edition, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), 101 Life Safety Code, based on the current edition, and their amendments.

    Copies of these codes are on file in the office of the fire prevention bureau and the same are hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out in length herein, and from the effective date of this section, the provisions of the fire prevention code shall control within the limits of the city.

    If any provisions of this section shall be in conflict with any existing or subsequent state statutes, then the statutes shall prevail.
