§ 6-7. Chief to make regulations, recommendations.

The chief of the fire department may adopt rules and regulations for the government of said department, subject, however, to the approval of the city council, and shall from time to time make recommendations to the city council in reference to the betterment of said fire department and fire prevention in the city.
