§ 5-307. Determination fees.

  • Fees shall be based upon the following formula:

    3 acres / 1,000 people × Number of persons / dwelling units × cost of acres = fee

    Persons per dwelling unit shall be determined as follows:

    a.

    Single-family residential, per unit ..... 2.26

    b.

    Multi-family residential, per unit ..... 2.26

    c.

    Mobile homes, per unit ..... 2.26

    (2)

    The gross cost of developed parkland is determined by the city council to be forty-six thousand five hundred dollars ($46,500.00) per acre.

    (3)

    Review of fee criteria. The above listed criteria used to determine fees shall be evaluated at least every five (5) years to determine whether the schedule of fees should be adjusted based on:

    a.

    Changes in population per dwelling unit as reflected by federal, state, county, and city estimates.

    b.

    Changes in land values as reflected by the county tax rolls or by independent study.

    c.

    Changes in the cost of development of parkland as reflected by current cost data.
