A riverfront bulkhead line shall be, and the same is hereby established and located
channelward of property within the corporate limits of the City of South Daytona abutting
on the Halifax River, which line is established and located in Volusia County, Florida,
as shown on the map referred to above, and is more particularly described as, to wit:
BEGINNING at a point in the South line of the Bethune Grant, the same being the common
Corporation boundary line between the Cities of Daytona Beach and South Daytona, said
point being also located a distance of 1670 feet East of the East right-of-way line
of U.S. No. 1, the same being also known as Ridgewood Ave., a 100 foot wide right-of-way
as now laid out, the aforesaid point being also located on a continuation of the previously
established Bulkhead line of Daytona Beach; thence Southeasterly a distance of 300
feet to a point which is located a distance of 1695 feet Easterly of the East line
of the said Ridgewood Avenue; thence Southerly a distance of 295 feet to a point which
is located a distance of 1600 feet Easterly of the East line of the said Ridgewood
Avenue; thence Southeasterly a distance of about 380 feet to an intersection with
the North line of Lot 21 as extended Easterly, Palm Harbor Estates Subdivision as
per Map Recorded in Map Book 19, Page 208, Public Records of Volusia County, Florida, said point being also located
a distance of 1540 feet Easterly of the East line of Ridgewood Avenue; thence Southerly
a distance of about 780 feet to an intersection with the North line of Lot 8 extended,
of the said Palm Harbor Estates, said point being also located a distance of 1210
feet Easterly of the East line of Ridgewood Avenue; thence Southerly a distance of
about 455 feet to an intersection with the North line extended of lot 50 Blake Subdivision
as per Map Recorded in Map Book 1, Page 38, Public Records of Volusia County, Florida,
said point being also located a distance of 1065 feet Easterly of the East line of
Ridgewood Avenue right-of-way; thence Southeasterly a distance of about 500 feet to
an intersection with the North line extended of lot 45 of the said Blake Subdivision,
said point being also located a distance of 1040 feet Easterly of the East right-of-way
line of Ridgewood Avenue; thence Southwesterly a distance of about 115 feet to a point
of intersection with the South line of Lot 45 of said Blake Subdivision, said point
being also located a distance of 980 feet East of the East right-of-way line of Ridgewood
Avenue; thence Southeasterly a distance of 200 feet along the East side of an existing
seawall or bulkhead wall to an intersection with the North line of Lot 42, Blake Subdivision;
thence Southeasterly a distance of about 400 feet to an intersection with the North
line extended of Lot 38, Blake Subdivision, said point being also located a distance
of 965 feet Easterly of the East right-of-way line of Ridgewood Avenue; thence Southeasterly
a distance of about 295 feet to an intersection with the North line of Lot 37, Blake
Sub., said point being also located a distance of 960 feet Easterly of the East line
of Ridgewood Avenue; Southeasterly a distance of about 590 feet to an intersection
with the North line of Lot 31, Blake Subdivision, said point being also located a

to an intersection with the North line extended of Lot 21, West Shore Park Subdivision,
said point being also located a distance of 605 feet Easterly of the East line of
Ridgewood Avenue right-of-way; thence Southeasterly a distance of 500 feet to an intersection
with the North line of Lot 6 extended, West Shore Park Sub., said point being also
located a distance of 615 feet Easterly of the East line of Ridgewood Avenue; thence
Southeasterly a distance of 253 feet to a point which is located a distance of 640
feet Easterly of the East right-of-way line of Ridgewood Avenue; thence Southerly
a distance of about 53 feet to an intersection with the South line extended of Lot
3, West Shore Park Subdivision, said point being also located a distance of 625 feet
Easterly of the East line of Ridgewood Avenue right-of-way; thence Southeasterly a
distance of 1510 feet to an intersection with the North Line of Lot 1, Halifax Riverside
Park Subdivision as per Map Recorded in Map Book 6, Page 212, Public Records of Volusia
County, Florida, said point being also located a distance of 550 feet Easterly of
the East line of Ridgewood Avenue right-of-way as measured along the North line of

of the East right-of-way line of South Ridgewood Avenue, as measured parallel with

line of the said Ridgewood Avenue right-of-way as measured on a line parallel with

R. Smith Subdivision, said point being also located a distance of 450 feet Easterly
of the East line of Ridgewood Avenue right-of-way, as measured along the North line
of the Riverside Park Replat; thence Southeasterly a distance of about 590 feet to
an intersection with the common Corporate Boundaries of the Cities of South Daytona
and Port Orange, said point being also located a distance of 515 feet Easterly of
the East line of Ridgewood Avenue right-of-way as measured along the said Corporate
Boundary Line, said point being also at a point of intersection with the existing
Port Orange Bulkhead line continuation. Said map, entitled "Riverfront Bulkhead and
Proposed Building Line, City of South Daytona, Volusia County, Florida," is hereby
adopted and is hereby made a part of this chapter. A copy of said map shall be maintained
in the office of the city clerk.
