§ 5-203. Demolition by city; lien declared.

  • Upon the entry of such order, should the owner or owners fail or refuse to comply therewith, then in addition to such other relief as may be provided by law, it shall be lawful for the city to cause the building or other structure to be demolished and removed, and to pay therefor, and to charge, assess and collect the expenses thereof, including reasonable attorneys fees and costs, against the said lot, parcel or tract from which said building or other structure had been demolished and removed and which costs and expenses shall constitute a lien against said lot, parcel or tract, and against the owner or owners thereof.
