§ 5-156. Gas permit and inspection fees.

(a)

Minimum permit fee ..... $30.00

(b)

First gas outlet, and second third and fourth ..... 5.00

(c)

Each additional gas outlet, over four (4) ..... 3.50

(d)

Vented recessed heaters and water heaters included in (c).

(e)

Plan review fee. When the valuation of the proposed construction exceeds one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) and a plan is required to be submitted, a plan review fee shall be paid to the city. Said plan review fee shall be equal to one-half (½) of the cumulative applicable fees as set forth in subsections (a), (b), (c), and (d) above, and this subsection (e).

(f)

Any person who commences work without having first obtained a proper permit will be assessed a double permit fee penalty upon application for the permit.

(g)

Each applicant for a gas permit shall pay a placard fee of three dollars ($3.00), in addition to the applicable fee from the schedule of fees.

(h)

Reinspection fees, which must be paid prior to reinspection:

First reinspection\$30.00

Second reinspection (same violation)\40.00

Third or subsequent reinspection (same violation)\50.00
