§ 5-2. Final inspections and approval; issuance of certificate of occupancy.

  • No new building shall be occupied and no electric utilities turned on until the building is inspected and approved by the building official. The building official will not make a final inspection of any premises until it has received the necessary electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, heating and fire inspections and approval by the authorized city inspector(s). When the final building inspection has been satisfactorily completed, the chief building official will authorize the turn on of the electric utilities and issue a certificate of occupancy for the premises.
