§ 2-161. Purpose.

The purpose of this article shall be to ensure continuity of the government of the City of South Daytona in the event of a vacancy arising on the city council and shall be deemed to be in accordance with Article 5, section 5.09 of the South Daytona City Charter as it relates to vacancies on the city council.
