§ 2-6. Implementation of council member terms.

Commencing with the 1990 regular city elections, the mayor, the council member for District 1 and the council member for District 4 shall each be elected for a four-year term. Commencing with the 1990 regular city elections, the council member for District 2 and the council member for District 3 shall be elected for a two-year term. In every regular city election thereafter, each council member shall be elected for a four-year term.
