§ 20-54. Connection charges.

The following connection charges shall be made for connections of the sanitary sewer system of the city:

(1)

For all single-family dwelling units which require plumbing to the sanitary sewer system, the charge shall be four hundred twenty-six dollars ($426.00) per unit.

(2)

For all multifamily units, including condominiums and apartments, which require plumbing to the sanitary system, the charge shall be four hundred twenty-six dollars ($426.00) per unit.

(3)

For all motel and hotel sleeping units provided with bathroom facilities, the charge shall be three hundred twenty-six dollars ($326.00) per unit; and if such units have kitchen facilities also, the service charge shall be four hundred twenty-six dollars ($426.00) per unit.

(4)

For all other plumbing installations which are not covered in subsections (1) through (3) above, the service charge shall be thirty-six dollars ($36.00) per fixture unit as used in the standard plumbing code as adopted and amended by the city.

(5)

Where a private disposal system is being used, prior to connection to the city sewer system, the fee shall be one-half (½) of the above.
