§ 16-46. Initial rate.

  • The interim proprietary and general services fee shall initially be eight dollars ($8.00) per unit per month from the first day of the month following the date of issuance of the certificate of occupancy. For the purposes of this section, a "unit" shall be defined as a single-family residence; each dwelling unit of a townhouse, duplex, or multi-family dwelling; a single tenant industrial space; a retail store or a single tenant space in an office or commercial building. For structures such as warehouses, shell buildings, or large commercial or retail buildings, which are not leased as single tenant space, the fee shall be based on eight dollars ($8.00) for each two thousand five hundred (2,500) square feet or portion thereof. The term shall not include maintenance, remodeling or additions to units, such as additional rooms, pools, and fences, for which no interim proprietary and general services fee shall be required.
