Any person, firm, partnership or corporation violating any of the provisions of this
article shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, each day's violation constituting a separate
violation, and shall be punished, upon conviction, as provided by law. However, the
following optional penalty may be imposed upon any violator (permit-holder) who does
not remove the permitted garage sale signage not later than the end of the day following
the last day of the garage sale—i.e. the permit-holder shall not be issued another
garage sale permit for a period of three hundred sixty-five (365) days from the date
of the ending day of the last garage sale.
